Prof. John Barclay — Gifted to the least: The Church in Antiquity — Wednesday March 21st
John Barclay, Lightfoot Professor of Divinity in the University of Durham, world-class scholar of Pauline theology and Second Temple Judaism, and all-round great guy, is speaking at Lifepoint Church on March 21st.
John’s recent book “Paul and the Gift” is a landmark study of grace in the theology of Paul and his contemporaries. His evening with LIfepoint takes us toward the earliest communities configured by the gospel of grace, to learn how they served the poor.
