29 July — Is it compassionate to be opposed to abortion?
Have you ever found yourself struggling to explain why you have serious ethical reservations about abortion? Or, have you questioned if the “pro-life” movement which opposes abortion is really loving and logically sound? This presentation will explore the solid reasons why a pro-life position on abortion is reasonable, compassionate and humane. It will also unpack the major arguments used by pro-choice activists who are in favour of abortion. There will also be a panel discussion at the end of this talk, comprised of both women and men.
7pm at The Life Centre (21 Hania Street, Mount Victoria, Wellington 6011 — Building next to The Street Church).
